The problem
Remote infrastructure runs on batteries that someone has to drive out and service. That recurring operating burden — not the price of a kilowatt-hour — is the market Coevo is built around.
Servicing a remote battery is rarely about the battery. It is a scheduled crew, a vehicle, and hours of travel to a site that exists precisely because nobody wants to visit it often.
Repeated deep discharge is the dominant driver of early battery replacement in the field. Holding a healthier state of charge is the lever that matters.
Darkness, storms, winter sun angles, dust, snow, shading, and site constraints all reduce solar output — often in the same weeks that field equipment matters most.
Monitoring, telemetry, communications, and automation keep expanding into locations the grid does not reach, and each new device is another power problem.
The approach

One product category, one architecture, one customer problem. Coevo is not pursuing a multi-technology platform — the focus is compact wind for battery-backed remote assets.

Diffuser-Augmented Wind Turbine. An enclosed-blade vertical-axis rotor inside a diffuser shroud, intended to improve wind capture in a compact footprint while making the unit deployable where open blades are restricted.

The computational design phase is complete. The system is moving into physical prototyping and wind-tunnel testing, with a dedicated engineering partner engaged through commercialization.

The next milestone is deploying customer field-test units to establish technical and commercial proof points with operators in the target industries.

Distribution, OEM, and licensing conversations are how the platform is intended to reach industries that already have entrenched service relationships.

An enclosed architecture is a prerequisite for pursuing sites where exposed rotating equipment is unsuitable — a market conventional small wind cannot address.

Status
The Micro-Wind system has completed its computational design phase and is moving into physical prototyping and wind-tunnel testing, supported by a dedicated engineering partner engaged through commercialization. The focus ahead is field validation, customer deployments, and strategic partnerships.
The product is not commercially available, no certification has been completed, and performance figures shown across this site are modeled engineering estimates pending physical validation.
